What Is Installation Protection?

AutoXpert Installation Protection is an optional add-on designed to provide limited replacement coverage if qualifying pre-cut tint film is accidentally damaged during DIY installation.

Protection Options

The exact protection options and prices available depend on the product purchased.

Examples may include:

• One qualifying side-window replacement
• Up to two qualifying side-window replacements
• One qualifying windshield sun-strip replacement

The protection level purchased with the original order determines the maximum replacement coverage.

What May Be Covered

• Accidental creasing
• Contamination during installation
• Accidental tearing
• Film damaged while positioning or applying the tint

What Is Not Covered

• Damage occurring after successful installation
• Intentional damage
• Repeated misuse or improper installation
• Incorrect vehicle information submitted by the customer
• Wrong film type or shade selected by the customer
• Loss or theft
• Damage to vehicle glass
• Labor or professional installation costs
• Windshield or rear-glass replacements unless specifically included in the protection option purchased

Replacement Shipping

Installation Protection covers the qualifying replacement film piece only unless otherwise stated.

Replacement shipping is not included and may be charged separately.

How To Request A Protected Replacement

Contact AutoXpert and provide:

• Original order number
• Vehicle information
• Which piece was damaged
• Photo of the damaged film when requested

Coverage must be verified before a protected replacement is produced.

Protection Is Order-Specific

Installation Protection applies only to the qualifying tint pieces purchased as part of the original protected order and cannot be transferred to another vehicle or order.
